The Pottery Club is a supportive space for Apollo Bay local community to make pottery with shared materials, tools, and equipment, along with community firing.
Working with your hands, forming clay objects is therapeutic, a social outlet, and mentally and physically rewarding. The pottery club provides a shared space for all genders and ages, with new and experienced potters working side by side to learn from each other. Support is provided for those that are new to working with clay, by experienced club members, with workshops provided across the year.
The pottery club was established in 2023 with a keen group of experienced and newcomers to ceramic art. The end of year group show started in 2023 and is a recurring group show held in November / December at our Gallery. The pottery club is open for member access on a weekly basis.
