Creative Arts Grant

Apollo Bay Arts operate a number of arts-based activities, events, and groups. We also provide financial and physical support, membership, workshops and mentorship opportunities for creatives.

Through our Creative Arts Grant, we provide funding to local artists, art projects and community-based artist groups. The funding is allocated at the discretion of the Apollo Bay Arts inc. Committee to a diverse range of artists, events, workshops, and creative industries’ needs.

The Apollo Bay Arts grants are possible due to the funds raised by the Apollo Bay Arts organsiation and members, in particular via the annual Apollo Bay Art Show. The financial budget for the funding program is set annually by the Apollo Bay Arts committee.

Our Aim is to:

  • support and enable local creative artists and groups to provide creative art projects
  • promote local arts activities and performances
  • facilitate and attract creative industry workshops and events
  • enhance health, well-being and quality of life through regional creative arts

Our grant funding

  • Maintains and / or deepens relationships with our communities and artists / arts  groups
  • Supports our members in their endeavours to provide arts initiatives in our community
  • Promotes our aim and purpose as an arts-based organisation

Creative Arts Grants fall within the ABAi Funding Framework. Download the document to read more.
