Held over the Easter weekend and autumn school holidays, our annual Art Show is a much-loved fixture on the regional arts calendar. Don’t miss the chance to participate, explore, or purchase works from both emerging and established regional artists. Entries open each year on Boxing Day.
The Art Show offers an inclusive and welcoming platform for artists to exhibit and sell their work, with entries invited across all visual mediums.
As the sole fundraiser for Apollo Bay Arts, the event plays a vital role in supporting local creative initiatives and our grant funding. Our mission is to foster, facilitate and promote the arts and artists of Apollo Bay and the wider Otway region.
Established in 1977, the Apollo Bay Art Show has been championing regional creativity for nearly five decades.

In 2027, our annual art show reaches an incredible milestone—50 years! To celebrate, we’re curating a vibrant program of exhibitions and creative events, making Apollo Bay a must-visit arts destination over the Easter holidays.

49th APOLLO BAY ART SHOW – 3 – 12 April 2026
Thank you to our volunteers, artists and buyers for participating in the 2026 Apollo Bay Art Show, proudly brought to you by Apollo Bay Arts Inc. Profits made by the Art Show are re-distributed within the Apollo Bay community in support of the Arts.
This year 139 established and emerging artists exhibited a total of 327 works, with 133 pieces sold by the close of show. That’s an impressive 40%.
Over 60 volunteers made this Show possible. Thank you to our community members and to exhibiting artists that helped on the roster. There were 35 artists who offered their time to volunteer during the course of the show, and were able to interact with the public and talk about their works. This adds to the experience for both patrons and artists and we welcome you to take part next year.
This Easter we had over 1600 people through the doors. We made a concentrated effort to increase our social media presence for promoting the Art Show and local Arts Trail. Our Apollo Bay Arts socials received 34,000 views between 15 March – 13 April, and 1,400 interactions. Thank you to those who shared our content through either social media or word of mouth. We are proud of our show and love having others helping us promote it.
As many of our repeat exhibitors will know, Arts Inc Gallery, originally set up with Art Show proceeds, offers an affordable venue in Apollo Bay for artists to exhibit their work. 48th APOLLO BAY ART SHOW – 2025
The 2025 Apollo Bay Art Show welcomed over 1,500 visitors and achieved sales of more than 30% of exhibited artworks—a strong result that reflects the quality and diversity of work on show.
This success was made possible by the incredible support of more than 60 volunteers from our regional community. The Art Show relies on the dedication and generosity of volunteers—without them, this much-loved event simply wouldn’t be possible.
